Stefano Restaino is a London based Front End Web Developer with over five years experience of work in digital commercial media and e-commerce fields for projects on behalf of major UK and international brands.

Specialising in delivering standards compliant, semantic, cross browser HTML and CSS code along with jQuery/jQuery UI. I have worked predominantly within the Open Source enviroment resulting in an understanding of PHP and MVC Frameworks. I have used templating languages such as Smarty and Twig, along with CMS's such as Drupal and Worpress.

Arcadia Group

Working alongside the ecommerce development team I was one of a team of two front-end developers on a project to live launch the new websites for various Arcadia Group brands such as Topman, Topshop and Dorothy Perkins in Europe as well as Thailand, Malayasia and Singapore. The work required me to use my HTML, CSS and jQuery skills to implement new featues and find and fix problems.

This project involved working with a European based designer on a dual-language (Hungarian & UK English) WordPress based magazine style website. This website uses a completely custom created theme as well as a number of plugins and custom created functionality to makeup the various parts of the website. Skills used on this project included HTML(5), CSS(3), jQuery and PHP.

Smith & Family

Working alongside the in-house designer and back-end development team I created the front-end of this brand new website. Taking designs from PSD files, I hand coded them to create a HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery UI website, based around templates using the Twig template engine.

Table 19

Whilst working permanently at Table 19 I used my skills across a range of different projects for various UK and international brands such as Sky TV, BlackBerry and the Carphone Warehouse. Projects ranged from hand coding full websites through to email newsletter campaigns.

IPC Media

Working on the NME, Nuts, Loaded, Uncut and Mousebreaker websites I liased with both a web development team and non-technical people alike. I worked on a number of award winning digital commercial solutions for a range of major UK and international brands such as Dell, Fox Entertainment Group, Sony PlayStation and the Domino records. As well as hand coding microsites through to full standalone websites I integrated 3rd party technologies such as AdTech, InSkin and Omniture.
